We're thrilled to share the achievements and key moments of Session 2 of our e-Teach Certificate Training Program. This session, which took place on October 24, 2023, saw an assembly of enthusiastic educators and teachers, all keen to delve into the intricacies of digital pedagogy.
Highlights:
Mastering Digital Competencies: This session addressed the essential competencies every teacher should possess in the digital era. Participants dived deep into the foundational aspects of effective digital teaching, exploring goal-orientated, social-interactive, constructive, contextual, reflective and self-regulated aspects of the teaching experience necessary to create effective lesson plans.
Digital Content Development Insights: A major component of the session was dedicated to understanding the nuances of crafting impactful digital content. Participants delved into the strategies and tools for content creation that engages students and promotes effective learning.
Dynamic Skill-building Workshops: Attendees were exposed to practical exercises aimed at honing their digital content creation skills. Tools such as Miro, Mentimeter, Padlet and Flinga where directly used by the participants to brainstorm in groups. These hands-on sessions ensured participants could immediately apply theoretical knowledge, making the learning experience more tangible.
Rich Exchange of Ideas: With representation from various educational backgrounds, Session 2 became a platform for vibrant discussions and shared experiences. These interactions only reinforced the importance of adaptability and continuous learning in today's digital-centric education environment.

This session will explore the best practices and tools that bring blended and hybrid learning to life. We're excited to have the University of Social Sciences (SAN) & Baltic Institute of Educational Technologies (BETI) lead us in these explorations.
Session 4: November 7, 2023 - Digital Planning and Digital Assessment & Evaluation This crucial session will demystify the strategies behind effective digital planning, along with the tools and methods for robust digital assessment & evaluation. Hosted by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), it promises to equip educators with essential tools for the modern educational landscape.
