Updated: Apr 3, 2024

The Finnish e-Teach Multiplier Event was hosted by Innokas Network in the city of Tampere on January 18th 2024. The Innokas Network is a network of Finnish schools providing professional development and research on the use of technology and innovation education in schools. Teachers, trainers and coordinators of the network came together to hear about the projects, its outputs and discuss EU-level development of digital pedagogics.

Participants were introduced to the project and heard about the shared aims, processes and collaboration we have made. The introduction was followed by a presentation of project outputs which were then discussed further in small groups. There was fruitful conversation about how the results, such as the knowledge paper, modular curriculum and teacher guide could be used in the Finnish context and how they compliment teachers' professional development. Participants appreciated the broad theoretical background that the project provided and that it gave support for online and hybrid teaching. They also discussed the possibility of developing materials further for supporting the creative use of technology, such as invention pedagogy, and providing summaries of the project materials for quick access.
